Small town museums are full of wonderful treasures waiting to be discovered.Usually found off the beaten track, these museums are unique to the history of their locations and local culture, showing off their heritage with great pride. They are dedicated to presenting what makes their areas so special, and are always worth a visit.

The trip that is unanimously called the most breathtaking of all the journeys taken by frequent cruisers is Alaska. So we thought we’d see for ourselves. Our Alaskan adventure started with a trip to our neighborhood Flight Centre office, just to pick up some brochures. Then the friendly travel experts suggested some great last minute deals.

Having fun in San Diego doesn't require a lot of money.  At the end of a two hour drive, 70 miles of beautiful beaches, excellent weather, and dozens of inexpensive and entertaining activities await you. On the way, you can stop in beautiful La Jolla and visit the La Jolla Cove, watch the surfers, and stroll the streets of charming shops. Back in your car, twenty minutes later you can arrive at Balboa Park, admire the Spanish Colonial architecture and take advantage of 15 museums, a park tour or a visit to the San Diego Zoo, one of the finest in the country.

Spring is here, and a young man’s fancy turns to thoughts of baseball. A trip to the Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown, New York, is obvious, but too difficult to get to. So where does one go for the fun and the furor? To Round Rock, Texas. Yes, Round Rock-- just outside of Austin, in the Central Texas area. Very accessible to check it out.

Hermosa Beach makes such an excellent getaway. It is one of the three Beach Cities, with Manhattan Beach on the north and Redondo Beach on the east and south.The town has a remarkable array of boutiques, restaurants and antique shops to wander during the day. It is known for its large beach which is ideal for sunbathing, beach volleyball, surfing and paddle boarding. The sea breezes help keep the smog away almost all year.

After many false starts, the convergence of video platforms has finally arrived and promises significant growth in the coming years.
